10 Open Ended Questions to Break Writer’s Block

How many times have you sat in front of the computer screen and wondered: What on earth am I going to write now?  So much has been written in the history of mankind that often we think: What can I possibly contribute to the world that would be uniquely me yet not a carbon copy of everything else out there?

It is possible that everything has already been written.  Harry Potter is Star Wars and Hunger Games is Battle Royale.  Here are a few open ended questions that must be completed by the writer.  Once you do, you will be on your way to finding something to write about that you can pour yourself into.

2.  I’m not sure about…
3.  I do not understand…
4.  I would like to know more about…
5.  What caused…
6.  …is similar to…
7.  This issue is important because…
8.  What I find confusing about life is…
9.  What  next in my life may determine…
10.  I can relate to this issue because…
